ICE LIGHT PORTRAIT TEST

I had an upcoming video booth I wanted to test the ICE LIGHTS for. I wanted to see the difference between two setups – Goal Post and Triangle. Both setups would also have two different light levels. One where all lights were adjusted to the same level. And one where the bottom and right lights where set at a much lower level. What I was looking for was how much of a difference could be made just in a very short time. It only takes a few seconds to adjust the brightness levels and just a few more to adjust the position of the lights. In the future I may want to add both more positions and light levels to this test. Click the first image to view in a lightbox.

GOAL POST 1

This setup shows the 3 lights set up as a goal post. Each is directed slightly in toward the subject. They are all set to brightness level 4.

GOAL POST 2

In Goal Post 2 the left light is set to brightness level 5 while the bottom and right lights are set to brightness level L.

TRIANGLE 1

This setup shows the 3 lights set up as a triangle. Each is directed slightly in toward the subject. They are all set to brightness level 4.

TRIANGLE 2

In Traingle 2 the left light is set to brightness level 5 while the bottom and right lights are set to brightness level L.
