This is one of the last birds of prehistoric times to still exist today. While much smaller than their full size cousin they still breath fire just as well. I was very lucky to have captured this one and come away unscathed. How they are able to create fire or control the atmosphere is beyond me. They are certainly intimidating though. Even at this size.

I came upon this baby blue jay in the grass the other day. I thought I’d grab some slo mo of it before helping it back to it’s nest. I was quite delighted to review the resulting roar.
